Phoenixville Real Estate

    Phoenixville is surrounded by the farmland of Chester County.  The town offers a traditional downtown, and surrounding neighborhoods.  Phoenixville’s houses are a mix of Victorian and Colonial styles with more modern approaches in recent developments.  Phoenixville’s downtown district has seen a revitalization and  benefited from a number of investments that have improved the commercial center.  New sidewalks and streetscapes have returned the community to its walkable roots and brought in new residents and customers.

    Phoenixville’s has many shops, a wide variety of restaurants and arts and entertainment throughout the community and our downtown.  The community-owned Colonial Theatre, screens films every night of the week ranging from new releases to celebrated classics.  Just down the street are the Steel City Cafe and Forge Theatre. Both are popular spots for music and theater.  Special events also happen throughout the year. First Fridays are held monthly, and free concerts take place every Friday and Saturday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There are also many popular annual events.

    The Borough offers many recreational activities along the French Creek and Schuylkill River including numerous parks, the Black Rock Sanctuary, Fish Ladder, and the Schuylkill River Trail, with over 35 miles of walking, hiking and biking options.

    The community is home to 13 parks, 20 houses of worship, the Phoenixville Public Library, the Phoenixville Area School District, as well as an array of arts and cultural organizations. The Phoenixville Hospital serves residents from Phoenixville and the surrounding region.
