Celebrate the holidays by enjoying brunch with Santa! Enjoy a delicious brunch buffet with your family in our Canopy Gardens Pavilion and meet one of our beloved education animals. Share your holiday wishes with Santa, snap a photo with him, and enjoy exploring the zoo after your scrumptious brunch. There are three brunch sessions each day: 10:00 AM, 11:15 AM and  12:30PM. Space is limited for this event, so please register early and arrive on time. Your ticket includes admission to the zoo, brunch, and a photo opportunity with Santa.

Christmas at Colonial is dazzling walk-through light show and Christmas experience. Stroll through almost a million lights, some dancing to music, some illuminating your favorite holiday characters, and others winding their ways around trees. Take photos and get into the Christmas spirit through their self-guided, fun-for-all-ages, tour of the light show! Also included with your ticket: Warm your heart with a cup of hot chocolate or tickle your sweet tooth with a candy cane, Visit with Santa and tell him your Christmas wishes, or meet and greet with Elsa and Anna (select dates and times), and Remember your evening with a complimentary ornament (one per family group). *We are prioritizing online ticketing as it allows us to anticipate and comply with COVID-19 guidelines, help ease parking, and reduce crowding at peak times. When tickets sell out online, they will also be sold out at the door. If there are limited walk-in tickets available, they will be $1 more expensive per ticket.

A holiday tradition at Peddler’s Village since 1984, the Gingerbread Competition and Display is a feast for the eyes with more than 75 creative and whimsical entries in these categories: NEW! Holiday on Wheels, Traditional, Authentic Reproduction Around the World, 3-D, Movie or TV Set, Winter Wonderland, Student, and Kids Only. The Gingerbread entries will be on exhibit during shopping hours from November 19 through January 8, 2022. Admission is free.

West Chester - Santa at the Square

Join us as we light up most of Marshall Square Park (200 E. Marshall St.) in holiday flare and fashion. There will be hundreds of luminaires surrounding the park and pathways, lights galore around/on the gazebo, hot food and drinks for purchase, and everyone is invited to come out and get their pictures taken with the white-bearded guy in the red suit. This also includes your pets (as long as they are people-friendly and leashed). The West Chester Recreation Commission, Friends of Marshall Square Park, and The Parks and Recreation Dept. will be on hand helping out, answering questions, and spreading holiday greetings. New Hope Railroad - Santa's Steam Train Ride

Board our beautifully restored passenger cars, dating back to the first half of the twentieth century. All are heated and will be traditionally decorated for the season, creating a warm and cheerful feeling during your trip. Once aboard, hot chocolate and freshly prepared cookies will be served to all in attendance by our car hosts. Our talented musicians will serenade everyone with live music, with all passengers encouraged to sing along to this festive selection of familiar holiday tunes.  There will also be an opportunity for children to send their letter of Christmas wishes to Santa Claus himself by way of our special red postbox. At the end of your journey, Santa Claus will make an appearance to invite everyone to visit him at his Christmas workshop back at the train station, where his elves are busy making all the toy trains for the good little boys and girls across the world.

All aboard Santa's Express! Join Santa for a 75 minute journey on our heated decorated train through the Chester Creek Valley. Santa will be greeting everyone at Market Street Station and then going along for the ride to Glen Mills and return. Santa will be visiting all passengers while on the train. Make sure you bring your holiday lists with you so Santa can check them twice!

West Chester Railroad’s Christmas Tree Train

West Chester Railroad is again hosting it's popular Christmas Tree train this holiday season! We have partnered with Wiggins Tree Farm in West Chester, PA. The train will depart Market St station in West Chester, PA promptly at 8:00 AM. The train will arrive at Wiggins at approx 8:30 AM where passengers will disembark at the tree farm to go pick and cut your Christmas tree down. Hand saws are provided. Once you pick your tree, Wiggins will bundle and tag it. Your tree will then be placed onto our flat car, which will be in tow on our train. Passengers will then board the train and be brought back to West Chester where your tree will be off loaded. The entire trip is approximately 2 hours in length. Dress for the weather outside, our trains run rain or shine! All trees have a price of $70 for all Tree Train ticket holders.

Strasburg Railroad - Santa's Paradise Express

A Christmas tradition since 1959, Strasburg Rail Road welcomes a very special visitor every November and December. That’s right, Santa himself will climb aboard the historic steam train to greet families as they travel down the tracks to Paradise, PA, and back. As a special treat, children ages 11 and under will receive a gift from Santa and his helper during this nostalgic 45-minute steam train ride. Weather-permitting rides aboard our Pint-sized Pufferbelly and the Cranky Cars will be available too.
* Santa Letters: If you would like a return letter from Santa, please bring a self-addressed stamped envelope with you and place it in the “North Pole Express” mailbox located near the Mrs. Clause area.

Keep an eye out for the big guy in a red suit, as well as iconic images from holidays past projected on borough buildings. This is also First Friday in the borough and stores will be open late. There will also be FREE street-level parking. High Street (from Gay to Market Street) will be closed from 5-9pm for the ceremony.
