Pumpkin Patches:

Arasapha Farm

Due to the ongoing Pandemic, only the corn maze, sunflower field, and pumpkin picking are open to the general public. This includes a Hayride to the Corn Maze and back to the parking lot. Our picnic areas and other activities are available for Birthday parties, family reunions, and other gatherings. Parties include a jump on the pillow bounce, pallet maze, tractor and truck playground, and corn cannons. But the fun doesn’t end there! Take a private hayride down to our all-new 5-acre corn maze, and walk through the sunflower field. You can also pick pumpkins for an additional fee.

Colonial Gardens Pumpkinland

Highland Orchards

Linvilla Orchards

An annual trip to Pumpkinland has been a family tradition for generations of Delaware Valley Residents. During September and October, Pumpkinland takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. Larger than life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, local history, and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.

Lytle's Farm

Pick-your-own pumpkin patch with a free hayride out to the fields.  Beyond the patch, you can find pumpkins and gourds in all sizes and colors, corn stalks, straw bales, corn maze, and more.   For everyone’s safety, we’re requiring face coverings and asking all visitors to please social distance while at the farm.

Milky Way Farm Fall Harvest

For Saturdays and Sundays, individual tickets must be purchased in advance to limit capacity in response to COVID19 regulations. Stroll to the pumpkin patch, wander through the corn maze, take family photos, and visit the farm animals as part of your 2-hour $5 admission ticket. Bring your own wagon to carry pumpkins, fall harvest items, vegetables, and honey products that may be purchased during your visit.

Sugartown Strawberries

Ride a tractor-drawn wagon out to the pumpkin patch, where you can spend as long as you want to select the perfect pumpkins for every member of the family. Be sure you bring along your camera for some priceless photos. Of course, you can also just take the hayride and get your pumpkins on another weekend.

Visit Pumpkin Garden where your kids will love the pillow bounce, moon bounces the brand new barn bounce and pumpkin jump. Have a blast with the corn cannon. Mine for gems at our all-new gem mining experience. Visit with the animals at the Petting Zoo. With train rides, pedal carts, hay bale mazes, and more the kids are sure to have fun! But the fun doesn’t end there! Take a hayride down to the Pumpkin Patch to pick your own pumpkin. Or see if how quickly you can find your way through the 5-acre corn maze.

The Brandywine Zoo's Boo at the Zoo

Celebrate Halloween Brandywine Zoo-style with this merry, not scary, event. All are invited to wear costumes while visiting the zoo animals. Plenty of treats and activities. Kids will receive a pre-packaged treat bag at the end! Members DO NOT need to register for this event! Tickets are available at the door and online. Online purchase recommended. 

Dutch Wonderland - Happy Hauntings

The Great Pumpkin Carve

Join us for a three-day Chadds Ford tradition where over 70 giant pumpkins are carved by local artists on Thursday and will be lit and displayed on Friday & Saturday. All three nights enjoy a 'kid-friendly' Haunted Trail, raffle prizes, and live music. Food, local craft beer, and wine are available for purchase.

Hagley - October Hayrides

Families can take a hayride to experience the beautiful fall foliage at Hagley.  The hayride route offers unique views of Eleutherian Mills, including the meadow, orchard, garden, residence, and other historic buildings. The ride will last approximately 20 minutes. Guests can also enjoy fall-themed crafts and activities. Hayrides will be included with general admission to the museum and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Rides will take place every half hour beginning at 10:30 a.m. and ending with the last ride at 3:30 p.m.

Scarecrows in the Village at Peddler's Village

Over 100 spectacular scarecrows line the autumn-tinted pathways of Peddler’s Village during our 42nd annual Scarecrows in the Village. For eight fun-filled weeks, view and vote for your favorite larger-than-life creations in this Bucks County tradition. Some scarecrows are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations.

New Hope Railroad - Fall Excursion

Enjoy a Fall Excursion experience on a heritage train, departing from our 1891 Witch’s Hat Train Station in the Center of New Hope, Pennsylvania. On our Fall Excursion, passengers will enjoy a 2-hour round-trip excursion through scenic Bucks County on the “New Hope Branch” route, which was originally part of the North-East Pennsylvania Railroad, later the Reading Railroad. Passengers will ride aboard beautifully restored vintage (early 1900’s) passenger coaches while a narrator will provide you with interesting historical facts and stories of significant cultural locations along the route.

Join us for a family-friendly 90 minute Halloween train ride! Wear your favorite costume and ride our heated train to enjoy the beautiful Chester Creek Valley in all of its Fall splendor! During your brief stop at the historic Glen Mills station, passengers can disembark and explore the historic station and our picnic grove. Passengers can also collect a few treats while at the station. A simple fun event for everyone to enjoy.
